Join i Love Dogs and Chewsy Dog at Hotel Maya's Fuego Restaurant for an evening of great food and drinks, networking with Twitter friends new and old, all while benefiting the shelter dogs at spcaLA.Complimentary welcome sangria toast, happy hour pricing on food and drinks, silent auction, prize drawing and gift bags to all attendees. And everyone is invited to help support spcaLA by bringing a bag of dog food to the TweetUp.Due to the generosity of DOGSWELLR and Animal Care Center of Huntiongton Beach, one bag of food is going thrice as far! DOGSWELL andAnimal Care Center of Huntington Beach have agreed to match dog fooddonations collected at the event, pound for pound. A donation of ONE bag of food turns into THREE!
Hotel Maya has a great outdoor patio overlooking Rainbow Harbor. There are heat lamps in case it's chilly, grassy areas for potty breaks, and several dog-friendly adjoining areas in case anyone needs a 'time-out.' Dogs are welcome!
The prize drawing and silent auction items are generously donated by Hotel Maya, Fuego Restaurant, ILove Dogs, Inc., Simple Green, Chewsy Dog and author Nadine M. Rosin. 100% of the proceeds from the drawing auction benefits spcaLA's abandoned and abused animals.
